"Shadow Of Regret. Imagine Iron Maiden’s ‘Run To The Hills’ being hit over the head with a large felt hammer and you’ll probably have an idea of how this goes! A beautifully slow-burning start, reminiscent of bands like Isis and Neurosis, suddenly kicks in to a riff that makes you want to throw a TV set out of a window and introduce a fish to the genitals of a groupie! ‘Shadow Of Regret’ is one of those tracks where you just sit back and say ‘WOW!’ after you hear it. And then promptly press the ‘repeat’ button. “How many times have you crawled / How many times, knees on the floor / You hope something better comes along”. If it sounds like this, I’m happy to give up all hope."
